Fyrsta myndin er tilbúin!
Ég á reyndar eftir að gera stafina fyrir ofan en ég er ekki enn búin að ákveða hvort ég ætli að hafa textann á íslensku eða ensku. Það kemur í ljós síðar :-)

I've finished the first day of the 12 days of Christmas that I was talking about earlier. I still have the text left to do that says "A partridge in a pear tree" but I've not decided whether I have it in icelandic or english.

Are you using the (weird)colour green they suggest? I mean the one they use on the turtle?(dmc964) Or am I the only one who thinks this colour is weird? (For a turtle)

I'm glad you're inspired, Ulla, I bet you're gonna enjoy stitching this :-)
Juul: I am using all the colors suggested by the magazine. I think the colors by themselves aren't always a good judgment on how they will look once the whole picture is stitched. The green color is kinda weird but I'm going to use it. If I don't like it I can always frog it :-)

hehe weird colors tend to change when next to another color so I think it is best to keep the right colors unless they really are out of it like you really don't like the way it looks.

The sparkles in the fabric are they gold or silver?
And what threadcount is this, I ask because today I saw a fabric that looked a lot like this, it had golden sparkles, but I am not sure if it is the same threadcount. It was more coarse-threaded.(bigger holes)
