Dagur 2 og áhugaleysi

Svona er ég komin langt með mynd 2. Ég er búin að vera að grípa í þessa mynd annað slagið þessa vikuna en mest náði ég samt að gera í gær, fimmtudag. Enda er það líka Margaret Sherry SAL dagur ;-)
Ég er ofsalega lítið búin að sauma í vikunni fyrir utan þessa elsku. Meira að segja saumaði ég ekkert í UFO á þriðjudaginn. Ég bara fann mig ekki í þeirri mynd í þetta skiptið, ég var sest niður með hana en gat ekki saumað :-(
Það eina sem hefur fangað mig eru 12 dagar jóla. Samt hef ég ekki saumað neitt mikið í einu í henni og suma daga hef ég jafnvel ekkert saumað. Ég er hálfhrædd við þetta áhugaleysi.
Stitching slump?
I hope not! There hasn't much been going on though on the stitching front for me these days. The only thing I've stitched all week is day 2 of Margaret Sherry's 12 days of christmas. I don't understand why I haven't been more enthusiastic about my other stitching stuff but I hope it's coming back. It has to! I mean, I didn't even touch my UFO this tuesday which is not good at all. I was so pleased with the way that one was going. I guess there's always next week.
Juul: The fabric is 14ct aida with golden flecks or threads or something, at least it's golden. And I think the green color isn't too bad. At least I am not frogging it. It looks fine on the fabric and with the other colors. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but this color (DMC 964) is kinda cool. I once had a car with a very similar color so maybe it's the nostalgia talking :-D
Btw, I just want to say thanks to everyone that comments on my works and pics. I love getting comments even if I am a little slow on thanking you and answering questions. I am sometimes a little forgetful. Well, ok, I am a lot forgetful a lot of the time.. It's just me :-)

æji þessar myndir eru svo æðislegar ég vona að þú sért ekki í lægð en ég hef einmitt verið í pínu lægð en fer að taka mig á. Hehe gott að vita að ég er ekki ein um þetta en þó er verra að þú sért í lægð en mín hferu aðallega samanstaðið af tímaleysi.
Oh mig klæjar alveg að klára að stinga mína fyrstu... Mikið rétt, ég er ekki ennþá búin að því :-/
En, jólagjafir verða víst að ganga fyrir. Ætli ég saumi þá ekki bara jólagjafir alla daga nema fimmtudaga hér eftir. Þarf bara að klára fæðingarmyndina sem að ég er að gera handa einni sem að ég þekki og svo dembi ég mér í jóla jóla.
En, jólagjafir verða víst að ganga fyrir. Ætli ég saumi þá ekki bara jólagjafir alla daga nema fimmtudaga hér eftir. Þarf bara að klára fæðingarmyndina sem að ég er að gera handa einni sem að ég þekki og svo dembi ég mér í jóla jóla.

And what I know about that pattern it'll look good even that green isn't maybe most "turtlish" green. Anyway, those are naive designs, who cares about facts? :P
Btw, have I mentioned that this particular pattern is my absolute favourite from that serie? :)
And Rósa, in case you haven't been lurking in my blog lately: there's pic of finished Kitty. ;) (I'll get better picture later (my sis promised to get one when she receives it))

And one other thing (Am I chatty today or something?): does "horna" mean something in Icelandic? I've intended to ask this since I got that parcel from you and saw your address, but I've forgot. :P (reason for this question: "horna" is "hell" (/ "abyss"/ "bottomless pit") in Finnish ;)

Já, ég hef víst haft nógan tíma til að sauma en ekki hefur löngunin verið mikil :-( Við verðum bara báðar að taka okkur á, Hafrún ;-)

Horna is another form of Horn which is corner in english. It also means horns in english, you know the devils horns ;-) There is a mountain at one end of the fjord that is called Vestrahorn and the fjord bears it's name from that mountain. I'm not to be quoted on this though..

Thanks for the answers, the fabric I saw in the shop wasn't an aïda, more like an evenweave, I would like a finer count evenweave with the golden sparkles, not like the one I saw yesterday, I will have to go fabric hunting again... Altough I have little hope to find anything like that over here.
Your turtle colour lookes quite different from the magazine photo, I'm curious how it will turn out after it is finished with all the backstitching.
Many years ago I had an Fiat Panda in that coulour...

Thanks for the answers, the fabric I saw in the shop wasn't an aïda, more like an evenweave, I would like a finer count evenweave with the golden sparkles, not like the one I saw yesterday, I will have to go fabric hunting again... Altough I have little hope to find anything like that over here.
