Stitch Freak

Ég hef ekki saumað eitt spor í fjóra daga! Hvað þá tvö.. Ég er nefnilega búin að vera að vinna þvílíkt og hef verið svo þreytt þegar ég hef komið heim að ég hef ekki haft orku í að taka upp saumadótið þó mig hafi alltaf langað það.. Þannig að andinn er viljugur en ekki restin :-(

Í öðrum fréttum skrapp ég til Seyðisfjarðar í dag. Stoppaði aðeins á Egilsstöðum og keypti mér m.a. storkaskæri :-) Mig hefur langað í svoleiðis í þvílíkt langan tíma en alltaf frestað því að kaupa þau en á Egilsstöðum voru þau á svo góðu verði að ég gat ekki látið það fram hjá mér fara. Svo keypti ég líka Country Cross Stitching blað með fullt af stafrófum. Svaka sætt blað sem ég á vonandi eftir að nota eitthvað. Þó ekki væri nema stafrófið :-D

Þá keypti ég líka litla bók sem ég ætla að nota í framtíðinni sem verkefnabók. Þ.e. ég ætla að skrifa inn í hana hvaða saumadót ég er að vinna með og hvaða þræðir og efni fara í það svo ég gleymi því ekki, og líka bara til að geta skoðað eftir einhvern tíma og sjá hvað ég hef virkilega verið að gera. Fyrst ætla ég samt að skrifa í hana þau WIP sem ég er með sem og UFO stykkin sem bíða athyglinnar. Þetta verður fjör :-)

Svo var ég soldið dugleg á hægra smellinu í dag.. Keypti ýmislegt sem ég hef hugsanlega engin efni á, en það var bara á svo góðu verði!! A.m.k. eitt af því!.. Þetta er náttúrulega bara sick!! Er ekki til eitthvað hópastarf til að draga úr löngun í saumadót!

Tired

I haven't stitched for four whole days! I've been working like a dog and I've been so tired when I've gotten home that even if I wanted to I just couldn't find the energy to work on my projects.. The spirit is willing but the rest is not :-(

In other news I drove to Seyðisfjörður today (first day off in a fortnight). Stopped in Egilsstaðir and bought me a pair of stork scissors. I've been wanting to get me one of these in a while but always delayed getting them. They were so cheap though that I just had to buy them today. I also got a Country Cross Stitching mag that had lots of alphabets in it. Really cute mag that I hope I'll use someday :-) Even if it was only to use the alphabets!

I also got me a little notebook that's going to be a project book in the future. I'm going to write in it everything I stitch and the details of each project. Like the fabric, fibers, designer and such.. I really want to remember this stuff and to look at it at some point in the future and see what I was doing and for whom and so on.. First though, I'm going to write down in it the WIP's I've got going on as well as the UFO's waiting for attention. This is going to be awesome :-D

I also must admit that the clicky finger has been working overtime today.. I bought some stuff that I potentially don't even afford, but the price was just too good to be true! Even with shipping.. Well, at least one of the things I got was cheap!.. This is just sick!! There must be some kind of help group out there for people trying to curb their desire for stitching stash! There just has to be! (this is a cry for help!)
