In other news I feel a sore throat coming and I'm afraid I'll be getting sick in the next couple of days. I can feel it coming on, f.x. my head hurts. You know, like it does when you're getting sick. It's like your head knows it's beginning and is taking preemtive measures to fight the bug.

The cat bed is coming along well, I've got like 15 rounds to complete and then I throw it in the washing machine for a spin or two. Can't wait to see it finished, I may just go and knit some now ;-)

Tomorrow is the send off date for the Redwork exchange and I must admit I haven't finished mine :-/ I am going to do that tonight after dinner and hopefully it won't be too long. I hope I'll be forgiven if I won't send it till tuesday.. I just started a new job and the weekend has mostly gone to learning the ropes at the new job and taking care of my brother's cats. As well as my own ;-)

I've been tagged by Outi and now you guys will find out 6 things you most certainly didn't want to know about me nor need to know. But here goes :-)

1. The last serious relationsship of mine ended when I was 21. Since then noone has really been able to win my heart completely.
2. I've just recently started speaking to one of my sisters after 2 years of non-communication.
3. I secretly wanted to use glasses when I was younger. Now that I need them I find that it's not as cool as I thought it would be. Be careful what you wish for...
4. Until today I didn't have a MySpace account. Probably one of the last people not to get one of those..
5. I don't think I'm mature enough to have kids. And frankly I'm not sure I want to have kids. That doesn't take away from the fact that I love my friend's kids and interacting with them, it's just that I'm certain I'd suck at being a mother.
6. I'm 32 years old and I still have no clue what I want to be when I grow up..

From now on I think my posts are going to be in english only. I've grown tired of translating my icelandic and having the posts in both languages makes for some really long posts.. So it's over now. All english all the way. Unless someone objects ;-) Maybe you foreigners like to read the icelandic and guess at what the heck I'm talking about before you go to the english version? Anywhoo, I'm pretty sure all of my icelandic readers are fluent enough in english to read my oh so not eloquent texts.

Ég var klukkuð af Lindu og ég hef spáð aðeins í þessu og er næstum viss um hvað ég á að telja upp.

• Saumaskapurinn. Ég veit ekki hvernig ég færi að ef ég hefði ekki saumaskapinn til að róa mig og halda mér á jörðinni.
• Kisurnar mínar. Það er yndislegt að koma heim úr vinnu eða einhverju og það kemur alltaf einhver til að taka á móti manni og til að leyfa manni að knúsa sig :-D
• Tölvan mín. Þessi ávani er nú bæði góður og slæmur. Í gegnum tölvuna hef ég kynnst fullt af fólki með sömu áhugamál og lært ýmislegt sem ég annars hefði ekki lært, en á hinn bóginn þá er ég alltof mikið í tölvunni. Ég gæti afkastað svo miklu meira ef ég væri ekki svona mikið í tölvunni :-/
• Mamma. Samband okkar er frekar flókið, en ég býst við að sambönd dætra við mæður sínar séu það oft. Ég veit það bara að ég er afskaplega þakklát fyrir að hún er mamma mín :-)
• Nammi. Ég er nammigrís. Sko, ég get viðurkennt það :-D Þetta er samt ávani sem ég verð að vara mig á.

Jæja, ég veit ekki hvað ég á að klukka marga en ef ykkur langar að svara þessu þá bara um að gera :-) Segið mér svo endilega frá því svo ég geti lesið :-D

Linda tagged me and after some consideration I've decided these are my answers.

• My stitching. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my stitching to keep me grounded and calm.
• My cats. It is wonderful to come home and there's always someone to greet you and let you cuddle them :-D
• My computer. This habit is both good and bad. I've gotten to know some amazing people through it and learned some pretty awesome things but on the other hand I do spend an aweful lot of time on it. I could do so much more if I didn't spend all this time on the computer :-/
• Mom. Our relationship is kinda complicated but I guess mother-daughter relationships are that a lot of the time. I just know that I'm pretty grateful that she's my mom :-)
• Candy. I love candy. I've got the biggest sweet tooth. I can admit it but I need to keep an eye on this habit of mine..
